Job Description

Forsgläntan’s nursing and assisted living facility consists of 8 units.

The meals and snacks served in the units are prepared in the kitchen.

Job Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen.

Daily operational planning; digital ordering may be required.

Dishwashing and facility maintenance.

Preparing lunch, dinner, and snacks

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented and has a friendly demeanor toward residents, staff, and others within the organization. Experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or institutional kitchen setting is preferred. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

Under the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare Municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is considered an asset when applying for employment with Gällivare Municipality. 

Work Hours/Duration

Fixed-term position, 70%, from August 2026 to February 28, 2027
