
Description of Operations
The Social Services Administration carries out activities mandated by law in accordance with the Social Services Act, the Health and Medical Care Act, and the Act on Support and Services for Certain Persons with Disabilities. Based on democratic principles, the Social Services Administration shall promote people’s economic and social security, equality in living conditions, and active participation in society, while also providing quality care, health and medical care, and services to older adults, people with disabilities, and others who need societal support.
The Social Services Administration consists of the Assistance Unit, the Department of Health and Social Care, the Department of Functional Support, the Department of Home Care, as well as the Management Support Organization and the Health and Medical Care Organization. As an occupational therapist/MAR, you will take on a role that is both broad in scope and meaningful. You will play a leading role in patient safety efforts within the field of rehabilitation. You will be part of our healthcare management team alongside the nurse in charge of medical care, the quality and education nurse, the unit manager, and the operations manager. The healthcare organization’s services are provided in community-based housing, specialized housing for the elderly, and LSS/psychiatric care.

Are you a licensed occupational therapist looking to combine patient-centered work with a strategic role in patient safety, rehabilitation, and habilitation?
With us, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your role as Medical Director of Rehabilitation (MAR) while continuing to work closely with patients and colleagues in day-to-day rehabilitation work. This position is for someone who wants to influence, develop, and create the right conditions for safe, high-quality rehabilitation. In 2026, the MAR role will comprise 25% of the occupational therapist position to establish the function.
