Working in the preschool is exciting, creative and challenging work in close collaboration with colleagues in teams. You have great opportunities to develop in a creative work together with children and colleagues. The children will be given challenges, support and stimulation for their development and learning in collaboration with preschool teachers and childcare workers in the department. Mandolinen is located in a quiet residential area with the forest outside the fence and walking distance to central Gällivare. The preschool has three 1-5 year old departments and interacts a lot during the day in different groups e.g. 5-year-old group, 4-year-old group and even the smallest children are sometimes divided into groups. A year ago, the entire preschool was renovated and now we have super nice premises where new learning environments are being shaped.

Work tasks

As a nursery nurse, you will, together with the others in the team, carry out the activities that are planned based on the Curriculum for the preschool (Lpfö).

Qualifications

Nursery education or other education that the employer considers equivalent.
Strong emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
