Tasks

As a childcare worker with us, your main tasks will be:

• Support each child in their individual learning process and create a safe and inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and other professionals to create the best possible conditions for each child's learning.
• Participate in the development work of the business and contribute to realizing our common vision.
• Work to develop and promote the minority languages Finnish and Meänkieli as the preschool has a minority language department.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a childminder. As a childminder, you should be responsible and have a clear leadership in the group of children, you have an easy time creating good relationships with children, guardians and colleagues. Commitment, solution focus, flexibility, innovation and a strong ability to collaborate are qualities we value highly in our work, we attach great importance to personal suitability. Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish under the National Minority Languages Act. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality
