Tallbacka preschool is a three-section preschool in the same building as Tallbacka school located in Mellanområdet in Gällivare. The departments are currently mixed ages 1-5 years with a maximum of 18 children in each group. The preschool is very close to nature in the middle area and uses these as a learning environment in teaching with the children.

Tallbacka preschool works based on sustainable development, gender equality with a clear starting point based on the curriculum for preschool 2018. Tallbacka preschool, together with Granbacka and Aurora preschool, is part of a collegial network where we collaborate and exchange experiences. The business is safe and well established. We work in project-based processes with the children and it is the children's interests and influence that form the basis for how the teaching is designed. We work a lot with outdoor education and use nature as a basis for children's learning and development.

Work tasks

As a childcare worker, you are responsible, together with others in the team, for participating in planning, implementing activities and reflection in the team and implementing the systematic quality work in collaboration with other colleagues and teams at the preschool. The children should be given new challenges and receive support and stimulation for their development and learning. You actively interact with guardians and are based on the mission of the business and the best interests of the children in all situations.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with training as a childminder and who want to be involved in developing our exciting business. It is important that you are familiar with our policy documents. Our mission is based on the Curriculum for preschool 2018. You are a clear leader, independent, responsible and easy to take your own initiatives. Of course, you are positive and have faith in the children's competencies and want to develop their abilities. You are interested in using digital tools and are keen to build trusting relationships with children and parents and have good collaboration skills. You are happy to use pedagogical conversations and pedagogical documentation in your work or are willing to learn more about this. You are interested in developing the preschool and its learning environments.

Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
