
Description of activities
The Social Administration conducts statutory activities with the support of the Social Services Act, the Health Care Act and the Act on Support and Services for Certain Disabled Persons. The Social Services Administration shall, on the basis of democracy, promote people's economic and social security, equality in living conditions and active participation in community life, but also provide good care, health care and services to the elderly, people with disabilities and others who need social support. The Social Administration consists of the Assistance Unit, the Department of Care and Care, the Department of Functional Support, the Department of Home Care, the Management Support Organization and the Health Care Organization.
As a nurse in the health care organization, you will be part of our unit nurses with assignments in special housing or with assignments at our short-term unit.
Tasks
As a registered nurse in the afternoon in the Health Care Organization, you and a colleague are responsible for health care interventions in Care and Care Homes and ordinary housing. The assignment includes coordinating good care and care where you are part of the teamwork around the individual and their relatives. The assignment also includes supervision in the work team. You will work together with a colleague in the afternoon but are part of a larger team of a total of about 30 nurses.
In the afternoon, you and a colleague start from the same room at the start of the shift where you plan the work before you go out and work. Most of the work tasks are acute interventions that you receive by phone from health and care staff, but some planned interventions are also included.
Qualifications
Legitimized nurse, meritorious if you have further education that is suitable for the assignment or experience of similar work. Working independently and being able to collaborate in a group is important. You should also be solution-focused and be able to see the big picture. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. Under the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
B driving license is required.

Full-time, Permanent employment - afternoon shift. The schedule is mostly organized with work every other week.
