Business description

Health and medical care in the municipality is organized under the Department of Home Care, which is responsible for efforts carried out by nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and an assistant nurse.
The work is carried out in the patient's own home, ordinary housing.
We need to strengthen our team with another nurse.

Work tasks

As a registered nurse, you are responsible for health care efforts in your own home. The assignment includes coordinating the care of patients, where you are part of the team. The team consists of 8 nurses, a coordinating nurse, and an assistant nurse.
The home care nurses work closely with the region's health centers, as well as with the palliative counseling team.
The working hours are daytime, with weekend duty every 8th weekend. Working time reduction, which means that you work full time 35.20 hours / week.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a few years of experience as a nurse, preferably experience from municipal health care.
Meriterative if you are a district nurse. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

B driving license a requirement, as it includes some driving.
