Hakkas preschool is located in the same building as Hakkas school. The preschool is located five miles outside Gällivare town and Hakkas as a village is strongly association-driven and there is good cooperation within the village.
At the preschool, three educators work together in a group of children aged 1-5 years. Hakka's preschool has a quiet learning environment with a lovely outdoor environment and is close to the forest, ice rink / soccer field, ski tracks, gymnasium, library and swimming pool. This creates good conditions for the children to develop in their local environment with many enjoyable challenges and learning situations.
The activities are conducted a lot outside throughout the year and nature can be part of the teaching and education at the preschool. Together with the children, the teachers grow vegetables, pick berries and make jam. They always prepare something good from what the preschool grows.
The curriculum (Lpfö18), the children's interests and abilities govern the activities where the preschool's educators work with research together with the children.

As a nursery nurse with us, your main tasks will be:
- Plan, implement and evaluate the teaching that promotes the children's development towards the curriculum goals.
- Support each child in their individual learning process and create a safe and inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and other professionals to create the best possible conditions for each child's learning.
- Participate in the development work of the business and contribute to realizing our common vision.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a trained childminder and also welcome applications from those who have an education that the employer considers equivalent.
As a childminder, you should be responsible and have a clear leadership in the group of children, you have an easy time creating good relationships with children, guardians and colleagues. Commitment, solution focus, flexibility, innovation and a strong ability to collaborate are qualities we value highly in our work, we attach great importance to personal suitability.
Extracts from the Police's criminal record for preschool are a requirement - available to search on the Police's website http://www.polisen.se the certificate must be presented before employment.
Gällivare municipality is an administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish according to the National Minority Languages Act. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
