Aurora preschool opened in the spring of 2019 and is beautifully located in the middle area of Gällivare, next door to Tallbacka preschool. There are four departments surrounded by inspiring forest and nature that we use as a natural part of the children's learning.

In the middle of the house is our square - a living meeting place where children from all over the preschool meet for play, creation and exploration. The preschool is built for interaction and participation, with age-divided groups (1-3 years and 3-5 years) and a large courtyard that invites movement, nature experiences and the joy of discovery all year round.

We are now looking for an active and committed nursery nurse who wants to be involved in developing our preschool - where children and educators learn, thrive and grow together.

Tasks - About the assignment

As a nursery nurse at Aurora, you will be an important part of a team that works closely together across the departments. Together we develop inspiring learning environments where the children's influence, curiosity and creativity are at the center. You will work in a department with children aged 3-5 years.

You participate in planning, reflection and systematic quality work and contribute to creating a safe and learning environment where every child can be challenged, explore and succeed.

We work in an exploratory and co-researching way - where the children's questions and interests can guide the way forward. Collegial learning, joy and community are important parts of our everyday life.

Qualification - Who are you?

We are looking for you who:
- have nanny training or other equivalent experience from preschool.
- is positive, curious and confident in your professional role
- sees the children as competent and has confidence in their abilities
- takes initiative and responsibility, and thrives on working together in a committed team
- uses or wants to learn more about digital tools and educational documentation
- is well acquainted with the preschool's governing documents (Lpfö 18)
- values good relationships with children, colleagues and guardians

Knowledge of Sámi, Meänkieli or Finnish is an advantage as Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for these languages. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
