Business description

The Department of Health and Social Care consists of five units: Enen, Forsgläntan, Älvgården, Dementia and Short-term. Älvgården is a special housing for the elderly located at Gällivare Hospital. Älvgården on plan7 department Sjöfallet has 15 beds.

The department provides care and care homes for older people with extensive care needs under the Social Services Act. We offer safe and individualized housing with access to care and supervision around the clock.

The work is based on the individual's needs, wishes and self-determination. Through a person-centered approach, it is ensured that each resident receives an individual implementation plan. The business works systematically with quality, documentation and follow-up in accordance with current legislation and regulations.

Duties

As an assistant nurse/care assistant, you have the role of contact person and are responsible for ensuring that the user has a good quality of life by meeting individual needs based on the implementation plans that are drawn up and the business's guidelines and objectives. You are a support in everyday life for the user and help with what the person needs help with such as medicine, hygiene, dressing/undressing and socializing. The assignment as an assistant nurse or care assistant also includes some administrative tasks such as documentation.

Qualifications

Three-year nursing program, assistant nursing education, other education that is considered equivalent or work experience in the field. We are looking for you who are responsible and easy to cooperate, you have knowledge in the field, are positive and have great interest and commitment that you find easy to translate into practical actions in the unit.

Strong emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

In the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

Working hours/Duration

Employment rate 100%, day/evening/weekend.

Full-time permanent position. Probationary period may apply.
