10Description of Operations
Hello! Would you like to be part of something exciting, educational, and rewarding?
We can offer you a varied, meaningful, and stimulating job with excellent opportunities for growth. Based on your skills, we’ll create a personalized development plan that includes both internal and external training opportunities. The Short-Term Care Unit is located on the 5th floor of the Älvgården building. The unit has 19 beds, all of which are allocated based on a needs assessment. These placements are for respite care, alternating care, further evaluations, or while waiting for special housing. This also means that the turnover of residents—both admissions and discharges—typically fluctuates more rapidly than in other municipal operations. In addition to exciting and meaningful work, Gällivare Municipality offers you a salary supplement for working at the Short-Term Care Unit, as well as access to wellness and employee benefits, including strength training/group exercise classes, wellness sessions when operations allow, and free access to Gällivare Municipality’s public swimming pool.
We are currently seeking two nursing assistants for the Short-Term Care Unit—come work with us!

Your duties will include collaborating with residents, family members, staff, and other professionals such as nurses and rehabilitation staff. We see opportunities for you to take on responsibility for a variety of delegated tasks from the relevant professions. In addition to medication administration, this may include wound care, catheterization, specimen collection, tube feeding, leg bandaging, and much more. The role of nursing assistant includes, among other things, documentation, creating care plans, acting as a representative, and serving as a point of contact
Qualifications
