Description of activities
The Department for Disability is part of the Social Administration. Personal assistance is a right that enables people with severe disabilities to live as independent a life as possible. The support should always be personally designed and the user has the right to choose who should be one's assistant, it is a fundamental part of the principle of self-determination in LSS.
Work tasks
We are looking for 2 assistants for male users. There are furry animals in the home. Being a personal assistant means a varied job with versatile tasks that are adapted and designed together with the individual. The tasks are governed by the individual's needs and the working hours are spread throughout the year. The workplace is located in Gällivare town. In the service, you will also work with other users in personal assistance.
Qualifications
Experience in the care profession is meritorious. You who apply should be calm, confident and responsive to the user's needs and good at working independently As a person, you should be flexible, master the Swedish language in both speech and writing. A plus is if you are a morning person, as some operations are carried out very early in the morning. It is an advantage if you have experience of working in health and social care, personal assistance or other experience that can be considered equivalent. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability according to the user's choice.Administrative work and therefore good computer skills are required. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

Working hours/Duration
Full-time, permanent employment. 6 months probationary period. Working hours: shift work
