As a result of a government assignment to strengthen the municipalities' preparedness in social services and municipal health care, we are now looking for a preparedness coordinator for the Social Administration. Do you want to be part of an exciting, educational and developing work?
The Social Administration consists of Health and Care, the Department of Disability, home care, municipal health care and the exercise of authority.
Tasks
In the assignment, you work together with the operations and the team to strengthen the competence regarding collaboration and management in the event of a crisis and increased preparedness, develop continuity planning and contingency plans, build and further develop the operations' war organization and plan and conduct exercises as a central part of the preparation for possible crises. The work also includes information security in the area and targeted crisis communication.
The role means that you act both as a consultative support and as a practical implementation force in the organization. An important part of the work is to ensure that preparedness work is integrated into regular business development and that employees are involved at the right level to create long-term sustainability. In addition, other priority measures within the municipality's preparedness work may also be updated
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have good knowledge of society's crisis preparedness and civil defense as well as the Swedish crisis management system. You have a relevant university or college degree with a focus on crisis preparedness, civil defense or other area that the employer considers equivalent. Experience of working with emergency preparedness issues is an advantage, as is knowledge of municipal social services and health care.
To succeed in the role, you need to be structured, responsible, consultative and analytical with the ability to drive the work independently but also with the business. You create trusting relationships and find it easy to engage others in a security-conscious approach. The role requires good collaboration skills and a long-term perspective. You have very good communication skills in Swedish in both speech and writing and thrive in interaction with managers, employees and political representatives.

B driving license is a requirement.
Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is an administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
Hours of work/Duration
The employment is full-time and limited in time until 261231, with the possibility of extension.
The start is as soon as possible by agreement.
For some positions, they are placed in a security class and require approved security clearance.
Working hours are during the day, but on occasion evening work may occur.
