Gällivare municipality is undergoing a major social transformation, which means exciting developments for the community and for the school. At Hedskolan, we are looking at different organizational solutions to ensure that the working environment is good and that students receive the best teaching. As a new teacher in Gällivare municipality, you will receive guidance from experienced teachers. We also have developed collegial and collective learning in the schools. Special educators, special needs teachers, counselors and school nurses are at the school and we work together in teams for the benefit of the students. Class mentors are present in the classes at Hedskolan and they work mainly with the social parts of the curriculum. Break hosting and break activities are some of the class mentors' most important tasks.

Duties

The positions are permanent positions of 100%. You are a teaching responsible preschool teacher/F-3 in a preschool class where you teach together with another teacher. You are part of a team where you, together with other educators, are responsible for student learning in the team.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher for grades f-3 or a licensed preschool teacher. We are looking for you who have a present and responsive approach to the different needs of students, are a clear leader and have good collaboration skills. You are independent, responsible and have the ability to take your own initiatives. We develop our work through pedagogical conversations and collegial learning and see it as a strength to be able to help each other to dare to be curious about new ways of working. great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Extracts from the police's criminal record are a requirement before employment.

Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

Working hours/Duration

Full-time, permanent employment. Probationary period may apply.
