Puoltikasvaara is located 5 miles north of Gällivare, beautifully situated by Lake Soutujärvi. The children in our school come from the villages of Skaulo, Puoltikasvaara and Moskojärvi. Puoltikasvaara school is a small school for pupils in grades F-6, where classes consist of between 4-8 pupils. The school is located in the same building as the preschool and works closely with both the preschool and the after-school program. The school has recently been renovated and offers a very nice indoor environment with well-thought-out learning environments.

Tasks

You will be a teacher responsible for teaching, we adapt based on your credentials. You are part of both work teams and subject teams where you, together with other educators, are responsible for all students' learning in the work team.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher or teacher. You need to have the knowledge to handle computers and technology in your daily work. You should be responsible, clear and driven and have an easy time creating good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. Commitment, innovation, interest in and ability to cooperate are qualities that the school values.

Strong emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Extracts from the police's criminal record are a requirement before employment.

In the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

Working hours/Duration

Full-time, permanent employment. Probationary period may apply.
