Description of activities

Regnbågens preschool is beautifully situated by the Vassara river. It is an age-divided preschool with six departments spread over two floors, one of which is a minority language department. There is a common dining room in the building and we have a large courtyard that offers a nice outdoor stay together with the children.

As a preschool teacher in Gällivare municipality, we can offer you a meaningful and varied work with good development opportunities. We work actively to promote children's learning through language development, nature experiences and cultural awareness. Our preschool is linguistically and culturally diverse and offers a rich and varied learning environment that is adapted to the children's needs and interests.

Tasks

As a preschool teacher with us, you have a clear pedagogical responsibility and work according to the curriculum for the preschool.

You plan, implement, document and develop teaching together with your team. You work for a safe, inclusive and fun learning environment and to stimulate children's linguistic, mathematical, social and creative development. You will work with systematic quality work and contribute to the development of the entire preschool.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher, responsible and have a clear leadership in the child group. We would like to see that you find it easy to create good relationships with children, guardians and colleagues. Commitment, solution focus, flexibility, innovation and a strong ability to collaborate are qualities we value highly in our work, we attach great importance to personal suitability.

Gällivare municipality is an administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish according to the National Minority Languages Act. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality
