Business description

The project department is part of Gällivare municipality's civil engineering and technology administration.

The administration consists of four departments: Plan, Project, Property and Technology, which means that the civil engineering and technology administration has overall responsibility for the municipality's investment projects, responsibility for spatial planning and land and development activities and is responsible for managing the municipality's operational properties.

In the administration, we meet the social transformation that is underway but are also responsible for maintaining the standard within the administration's areas of responsibility within Gällivare municipality.

Tasks

In the role of project manager, you plan and lead projects in construction and / or civil engineering activities in the phases of preliminary design, detailed design and construction phase.

You are responsible for project follow-up and ensuring that project objectives are achieved, as well as having budgetary responsibility for the projects. The work also includes carrying out certain investigations and feasibility studies. You are responsible for maintaining time, function, economy, work environment and organization within the framework of assigned projects. In construction and civil engineering, you can also act as an administrator for tasks related to construction work environment coordination in design and planning, or during execution (BAS-P and/or BAS-U).

The work means that you will work both in groups and independently with internal and external project and construction managers and lead external consultants in the design phase. The work may also involve acting as a construction manager in some projects.

Qualifications

You have a technical education at university level or other relevant education and experience in the construction / construction industry. To thrive with us, you should be open and outgoing, proactive and responsible. Experience of previous similar assignments is considered a merit.

It is a merit to contain competence for BAS-P and BAS-U in accordance with AFS 2023: 3 (BAS-P / BAS-U training).

You also need to be able to express yourself well in Swedish in speech and writing. Meritorious is if you also have good knowledge of English.

Driving license B is a requirement.

Working hours / Duration

Full-time, permanent employment. Probationary period may apply.
