Gällivare Municipality is looking for a Project Manager for recipient capacity for our Growth and attractiveness department. The growth and attractiveness department's mission is to create the conditions for long-term and sustainable growth and an attractive municipality to live in. In Gällivare municipality, societal transformation is currently underway combined with an expansive mining industry. We are also facing major industrial investments in the future and will thus have an increased need for manpower. The focus of the department is to coordinate, initiate and drive growth and attractiveness work that is strategically important for Gällivare municipality. We are looking for you who want exciting, developing and varied work in an environment that provides insight into issues that are highly topical in this expansive municipality.

Description
Move on up is a joint initiative and collaborative project between the municipalities of Överkalix, Gällivare, Kiruna and Jokkmokk. The purpose of the project is to strengthen local structures and methods to help attract the skills that the labor market demands linked to the societal transformation and the green transition in the region.

The project aims to identify, test and adapt methods and working methods to the own municipal organisation, in order to build capacity for increased moving in and establishment. An important part of the project is collaboration, the opportunity for learning and knowledge transfer across municipal borders.

Job duties
You will work as a project manager and, together with our move-in pilot and other participating municipalities, create a structure to increase recipient capacity and move-in to our municipality. As project manager, you have the overall responsibility for the project locally but also overall as Gällivare municipality is the project owner. The purpose of the service is to create systems for how we best reach out to potential new citizens, help them take the step to move to the municipality and establish themselves in the place.

The goal is to develop and establish a sustainable, long-term and inclusive method and a working method for receiving immigrants in the participating municipalities. Through established cooperation, the work should strengthen the development of the service the municipality offers and thereby increase attractiveness and contribute to growth both locally and regionally.

You are part of both a municipal working group and a project team with officials from participating municipalities to create a joint structure, learning and method development.
The service also includes spreading Gällivare municipality's employer and place brand and marketing the municipality via various channels and campaigns, and we would like to see that you are comfortable speaking in front of people in different contexts.

Qualifications
You have relevant education for the assignment or equivalent experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Swedish. More languages ​​are meritorious but not a requirement.

As a person, you are good at collaborating and meeting people and are a good ambassador for Gällivare. You are good at organizing, structuring and working independently strategically and long-term. You must be able to drive and initiate your own work methods and activities.

We like to see that you are good at managing digital and social channels and platforms
and has previous experience in project management.

Working hours/Duration
Full time. Project employment 2 years, Probationary employment can be applied
