Business description

The position belongs to the Board and Investigation Department, which is a department within the Support and Development Administration. The department is responsible for committee administration, the municipality's archives, consumer guidance, guardianship activities, disability issues, investigations, etc.

Duties

As a public health strategist, you will coordinate, drive and follow up the overall public health work based on the goals and decisions adopted by the municipal policy. You are the coordinator, rapporteur and secretary of the municipality's Council for Safety and Public Health and work strategically overall internally and externally regarding public health issues.

In the role of public health strategist, you investigate, are responsible for the preparation and investigation of cases on behalf of political bodies and municipal management. Presentation of documentation to management groups, political bodies and consultation/collaboration groups may occur.

Qualifications

Adequate university education where experience of/work with public health issues is an advantage. Experience of networking and knowledge of society and its actors is also of importance.

You are communicative, responsive and work in a structured and independent manner. You have the ability to see the big picture and focus on quality and have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish. You can adapt messages to the needs of the target group. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
