Description of activities
The Social Administration conducts statutory activities under the Social Services Act, the Health Care Act and the Act on Support and Services for Certain Disabled Persons. The social administration shall, on the basis of democracy, promote people's economic and social security, equality in living conditions and active participation in community life, but also provide good care, health care and services to the elderly, people with disabilities and others who need social support. The social administration in Gällivare municipality is divided into the following areas of activity: Care & Nursing, Home Care, Disability and the Assistance Unit. The position as a quality and education nurse is located in the department for home care but works overall towards all activities in the social administration.
Work tasks
You work on behalf of the social administration's management and in close collaboration with the medically responsible nurse (MAS). You are part of the administration's HSL group, which is responsible for and leads the development work within the municipal health and medical care work. As a quality and education nurse, you work with quality and patient safety based on an overall role in the organization. You work in consultation with MAS and support the management teams in their quality work, to improve and ensure the work around the user/patient and to achieve the legal requirements and goals that exist in the administration. The service includes introducing/training licensed and nursing staff, such as training in documentation, introduction, delegation, ombudsman roles and other elements needed for the operations. You will also have the role of process manager in the Nära vård project, which is a collaborative project with the region. Clinical work may occur during certain periods.

Qualifications
Legitimized nurse. You should have a genuine interest in working qualitatively and want to develop health care work in Gällivare municipality. As a person, you are positive and solution-focused, committed, responsible and have the ability to drive your own work independently and have the ability to organize work effectively to achieve results. We appreciate that you are clear in your communication and have a good ability to meet people and create trust and security within the organization. As the position involves establishing procedures, conducting investigations and analyses, you must be able to express yourself clearly and pedagogically in writing. In addition, you are flexible in that you can easily adapt to changing circumstances and conditions. We attach great importance to personal suitability. It is an advantage if you are a certified trainer in BPSD as you will be responsible for training in the field of dementia in the organization. Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
