Business description

Gällivare municipality is in an active development phase where the social administration is strengthening the interaction between business development, quality and digitization. With a clear focus on long-term quality, systematics and strong support for the business, we develop working methods, processes and follow-up to meet future needs in social services. We are now looking for a quality developer who wants to take over the administration's continued quality work when our current one leaves for another assignment within Gällivare municipality. The quality developer is part of the social administration's staff and has an overall mission to support the entire organization in matters relating to investigations, follow-up, quality assurance and improvement work. The work is done in close collaboration with the operations and other staff functions. The Social Administration is responsible for elderly care, disability care, municipal health care and individual and family care (IFO).

Tasks

As a quality developer, you have a broad, strategic and coordinating assignment. You work closely with the administrative management, management team and contribute to the translation of objectives into quality and results.

The assignment includes, among other things:

  • Initiate, coordinate and develop the administration's goal management work together with the management team and political leadership
  • Work with business plans, internal control plans and follow-up to interim reports and annual accounts
  • Support the management team in the work with goal management based on the social board's business plan
  • Lead development assignments, investigations and internal reviews based on the Board's priorities
  • Conduct investigations under the provisions of Lex Sarah
  • Work with systematic quality work and process development
  • Follow up and analyze quality in both internal and external activities
  • Prepare decision-making documents and service statements to the Social Services Board
  • Monitor developments in the field of social services

The role also includes a municipality-wide assignment where you, together with other administrations, are part of Gällivare municipality's quality group and contribute to joint development efforts.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

  • Have relevant higher education at college or university level, such as a degree in social work, social work or other behavioral science education that the employer considers equivalent.
  • Deep and broad knowledge of social services target groups, for example in disability care or individual and family care
  • Several years of experience from the exercise of authority and / or provider activities
  • Good knowledge of legislation, regulations and guidelines in the field of social services
  • Experience in writing reports, investigations and service statements
  • Good knowledge of management systems for systematic quality work and process development
It is an advantage if you have:
  • Experience in investigating and writing reports according to Lex Sarah
  • Experience in quality follow-up of internal and external activities
  • Interest in digitization and understanding of how data-driven working methods can strengthen quality and business development

To succeed in the role, we see that you have a consultative, structured and business-oriented approach. You plan, manage and follow up your work independently and systematically. You have excellent communication skills in both speech and writing and enjoy working with managers, staff and political representatives. You are unpretentious, flexible and able to switch between strategic and operational work. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
