We are now looking for a resource for Fjälldalens preschool.

Fjälldalens preschool is a preschool with six departments where nature and the mountain are close by, which opened in January 2025. We are now looking for you who want to step in among a wonderful bunch of colleagues and who want to work as a resource in a team. In the preschool, we meet our children in their first education and in their first steps in lifelong learning and there you as a resource are important. Work tasks

Working as a resource means that you become another person in the team so that the preschool can meet children with special needs. You are part of the team at the preschool and together you design a safe, stimulating and developing education and learning environment for the children where the curriculum (Lpfö18) describes the work and education that the preschool offers the children. Together, the team designs the education so that children in need of special support receive the support and challenges they need in their development and that they are stimulated and developed in their play and in their learning.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained childcare workers and you who have good experience of working with children with special needs.

It is important:

  • that you are familiar with our governing document, the Curriculum for the preschool (Lpfö18),
  • that you are a confident and clear leader, have the ability to take your own initiative, are positive and have faith in the children's different competencies,
  • that you have a solution focus, are flexible and innovative. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and personal suitability.
  • that you are concerned about trusting relationships with children and guardians and that you have good collaboration skills,
  • that you use image support and TAKK (sign as alternative supplementary communication).

Very good knowledge of Swedish both in speech and writing is a prerequisite for the service. Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

The position requires an extract from the Police's criminal record, https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret/skola-eller-forskola/ and that you present a valid identity card showing citizenship and a valid work permit.

Working hours/Duration

Full-time (100%) - fixed-term employment from August 3 to December 23. With the possibility of extension.
