Description of Operations

Myrans Preschool has four classes with 18 children in each group, ranging in age from 1 to 5 years old. The preschool is beautifully situated in a quiet residential area where the playground is large with great play areas, and the forest is right outside the fence.

Job Responsibilities

This class includes children with special needs; your role will be as one of the teachers in the group, where you’ll share responsibility for all the children rather than focusing on any one child in particular. Experience managing insulin/diabetes is a plus.

Qualifications

Experience working in a preschool, early childhood education training, or other experience deemed suitable by the employer. Proficiency in spoken and written Swedish. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. Under the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare Municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is considered an asset when applying for a position with Gällivare Municipality. 

A valid extract from the police criminal records is required; this can be requested at Polisen.se
