Job Responsibilities

The preschool curriculum (Lpfö18) outlines the preschool’s core values and mission and includes goals and guidelines for the work at the preschool. Children in preschool should receive a safe and nurturing education where care, development, and learning form a cohesive whole.

As a preschool teacher, you’ll work with your team to design a safe and enriching educational experience for the children at the preschool. The work is challenging, exciting, and creative, and is carried out in close collaboration with your work team and colleagues at the preschool. As a childcare worker, you are part of a work team and participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the educational programs offered to the children. You’ll collaborate with the team to provide the children with a fun and educational learning experience.

  • that you utilize pedagogical discussions and pedagogical documentation in your work,
  • that you use visual aids and TAKK (signs as an alternative and augmentative means of communication),
  • that you are interested in developing the preschool.
  • Excellent proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is a prerequisite for this position. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and suitability for the role.
