Granbacka preschool is located in the middle of the residential area Granbacka, with the forest and nature around the corner - a fantastic place that we use every day in teaching together with the children. Here, nature is an obvious part of our learning environment and an inexhaustible source of play, learning and exploration.

We work actively to create learning environments where the children's curiosity, interests and ideas can take place. Together with the children, we explore, try new things and develop. With us, the project-based approach and outdoor education are important parts of everyday life - and we would like to develop it even more.

Tasks

As a preschool teacher with us, you are an important part of planning, implementation and reflection in the team. You also contribute to the preschool's systematic quality work together with colleagues. With us, you will have great influence over your work and the opportunity to try out new ideas. Together with the children, their guardians and your colleagues, you will be involved in developing the activities. Here there is both security in what we already do well - and freedom to test new ways of working.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher and who want to work closely with the children in their everyday exploration and learning. You find it easy to create good relationships with both children and guardians, and you see cooperation and community as a strength.

We would like you to be curious about using digital tools - both in teaching and in documentation. It is a natural part of our work and a tool for visualizing and developing the children's learning processes. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
Knowledge of Sami, Meänkieli or Finnish is meritorious.

Other

For employment, you need to provide an extract from the police's criminal record for work in schools and childcare.
