Description of activities

Adapted primary school for upper secondary school is located at Sjöparksskolan, for other grades it is located at Hedskolan. In adapted primary school we have special teachers/special educators and student assistants.

Duties

As a special teacher at the adapted primary school's upper secondary school, you are expected to conduct work that puts the student's learning at the center. You are a committed teacher who is able to inspire and motivate students in their learning development. You take the pupils' perspective as your starting point when you, together with other staff and management, organize, run and develop the school. As a special needs teacher with us, you are involved in creating opportunities where all students are offered the opportunity to achieve the goals and where learning is experienced as meaningful, stimulating and enjoyable. You are also responsible for ensuring that the students in your teaching group are challenged based on their conditions to develop towards their full potential.

Qualifications

Legitimized special education teacher with a focus on intellectual disabilities. You should be responsible, clear and driven and have the ability to create good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. Commitment, solution focus, innovative thinking, interest in and ability to collaborate are qualities that the school values. Previous work with students with NPF is an advantage. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

For employment, an extract from the criminal record is required.
