We provide students with intellectual disabilities an education tailored to their needs. Instruction is based on each student’s individual needs and abilities.

After-school care is available as part of the program.

Job Responsibilities

You will assist a student or a group of students who may have various needs, whether physical or social. You will work alongside the teacher in the classroom, helping to ensure that all students achieve their goals. You will support and care for the student during activities that take place both at school and at the after-school program, working closely with teachers and the student’s guardians.

You will also be present at the after-school program located on the school grounds, either when it opens and/or after school ends.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a high school diploma or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Knowledge of or experience working with individuals who have neurodevelopmental disorders is a plus.
