Business description

We have been working for a number of years on school structure to gather the upper secondary school into one school Sjöparksskolan and it will be in port in the fall of 2020.

As a new teacher in Gällivare municipality, you will be supervised by an experienced teacher. We also have a developed collegial learning at the schools.

Special educators, special teachers, counselor, school nurse are also at the schools and we work together for the best of the students in teams.

Work tasks

Sjöparksskolan is looking for a person with the task of supporting students in grades 7-9. You have positive expectations of the student and adapt your approach based on the student's level and with a focus on the student's best interests. It includes assessing the individual student's needs, to act supportively during the school day.

Qualifications

You should be responsible, clear and driven and have easy to create good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. Commitment, solution focus, innovative thinking, interest in and ability to cooperate are qualities that the school values.

In the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
