The Functional Support Department makes a real difference in people’s everyday lives and creates the conditions for an independent and meaningful life for everyone.
Job Responsibilities
Support and Service is an LSS housing program where residents live in their own apartments; instead of round-the-clock on-site care, support is planned as specific interventions in collaboration with the residents. Job responsibilities include supporting residents in their daily lives with cooking, shopping, household chores, leisure activities, and more. The work team is flexible and adjusts the work plan as needs change. Every 6 weeks, there is a team meeting where staff, the unit manager, a nurse, and the educational team collaborate. The approach is based on a low-affect interaction style, and AAC/visual supports are used in daily work. The role also includes serving as a liaison, where you work with the client, other professionals, and representatives to develop, follow up on, and implement the client’s individual plan. The Pulsen Combine documentation system is used in the program.
