The Department of Functional Support offers support and services to children, young people and adults with disabilities. We work on the basis of LSS and the Social Services Act to strengthen the individual's independence, security and participation. The department includes daily activities, housing with special services, housing for social support, support and service housing, short-term housing for children, leisure activities, relief and companion services and personal assistance. The Department of Functional Support makes a real difference in people's everyday lives, and creates the conditions for an independent and meaningful life for everyone.
Work tasks
As a support assistant/support assistant at Fjällsippan, you will work for good living conditions based on each user's needs, conditions and interests. You will support the user in daily life by working according to the implementation plans that are drawn up and based on the organization's guidelines and objectives.The service also includes assignments as a contact person where you, together with the user, other professionals and representatives, establish and follow up the work based on the implementation plan. We use the Pulsen Combine documentation system in our operations. Your work also includes guiding/supporting/following up on and planning activities and providing support to the user in the care of their home. In the business there are common areas and premises that you together with the work group are responsible for.
Qualifications
You have nursing education or other education that the employer considers equivalent. Knowledge and experience in the field of disability is an advantage. You must be able to work independently and also in collaboration with other staff and have a good attitude.You must be able to express yourself well in speech and writing in the Swedish language and have good digital skills. As a person, you are confident and secure in your role and have a good ability to act in a professional manner in all situations that arise. The work involves physical activities together with users and you must therefore have basic physical ability and an interest in planning and carrying out activities. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
