Business description

Myranskolan has about 150 students from preschool to grade 6, as well as an after-school department. The school is located in Koskullskulle. At Myranskolan, there is a teacher responsible for teaching and a class mentor who mainly works towards the social parts of the curriculum in each class in grades 1-6. The after-school program is a complement to the school where students' abilities are developed through various forms of expression and based on the students' interests. At the school there are also special teachers, school counselor and school nurse who work together in teams for the benefit of the students

Work tasks

The main tasks consist of teaching, planning and mapping in grades 4-6. You will collaborate with other educators. You manage the everyday contact with students, colleagues and guardians. You will actively participate in the school's joint development work together with colleagues in and outside your own school. You will also participate in teaching at the after-school center.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher for grades 4-6. You need to have the knowledge to handle computers and technology in your daily work. You should be responsible, clear and driven and have easy to create good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. Commitment, innovation, interest and ability to cooperate are qualities that the school values. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

Extracts from the police's criminal record are a requirement before employment.
