Duties

As a teacher, you work with teaching. You prepare, plan, implement and evaluate pupils' progress and your own teaching based on the curriculum. You work in close collaboration with guardians. Most of the teachers also work as a responsible mentor in a class.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a teaching license. We also welcome applications from those who are about to finish or who have started their teacher training towards primary school! You should be responsible and have a clear leadership in the classroom, as well as be easy to create good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. Commitment, solution focus, flexibility, innovative thinking, interest in and ability to cooperate are qualities that Gällivare municipality's primary school values. Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish.
