Business description
Hedskolan is a 3-paralellig f-6 school with adapted primary school. We have about 500 students and 100 employees. We are centrally located in Gällivare municipality within walking distance of the sports hall, the bathhouse, etc. Hedskolan has a well-developed approach to collegial learning that covers all parts of the curriculum. We can thus offer continuous skills development by driven process leaders, PAX and IBIS instructors and IT educators. As a teacher of textile crafts, you will work with our students in grades 3-6.
Work tasks
The starting point for you as a teacher is to work in textile crafts with planning, teaching, evaluation and value base work based on the curriculum. The work is done both independently and together with colleagues.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher with the authority to teach crafts. If you are authorized to teach other subjects, it is positive. You need to have the knowledge to handle computers and technology in your daily work. You should be responsible, clear and driven and have an easy time creating good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. Commitment, innovation, a solution-oriented approach, interest in and ability to cooperate are qualities that the school values and great importance is attached to personal suitability. Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
