Puoltikasvaara is located 5 miles north of Gällivare, beautifully situated by Lake Soutujärvi. The children in our school come from the villages of Skaulo, Puoltikasvaara and Lappeasuando. Puoltikasvaara school is a small school for pupils in grades F-6, where classes consist of between 4-8 pupils. The school is located in the same building as the preschool and works closely with both the preschool and the after-school program. The school has recently been renovated and offers a very nice indoor environment with well thought-out learning environments. Nature is just outside the classrooms!

Duties

As a teacher responsible for teaching, you will teach in preschool class and Swedish and art in grades 1-5 at the school. This may change depending on the applicant's education and/or experience. You are part of a team and are responsible for all students' learning together with other educators. You actively participate in the school's joint development work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a preschool / primary school teacher with a teaching license. We offer benefits based on qualifications. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Knowledge of Sámi, Meänkieli or Finnish is an advantage, as Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for these languages according to the National Minority Languages Act.

Working hours/Duration

100 %, temporary position for the school year. 2025-10-13 until 2025-12-31
