Hedskolan is a f-6 school with adapted primary school that is 3-paralellig with about 500 students and 100 employees. We are centrally located in Gällivare municipality within walking distance of the sports hall, swimming pool, etc. Hedskolan has a well-developed approach to collegial learning that covers all parts of the curriculum. We can thus offer continuous skills development by driven process leaders, PAX and IBIS instructors and IT educators. The starting point for you as a teacher is to work with planning, teaching, evaluation and value-based work based on the curriculum. The work is done both independently and together with colleagues in the middle school. As a F-3 teacher with us, you will work with our students in grades 1-3

Tasks

A house substitute's mission is to step in and substitute for absent staff at the school, for example as a teacher, student assistant or class mentor. You are usually based on a completed lesson plan and the assignment is very varied. You will cover absences in primary or middle school. As a house substitute, you also work in the afternoons at the after-school center.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with at least upper secondary education and meritorious is to have worked with children / students in different contexts. We are looking for you who are flexible and have a present and responsive approach to the different needs of students, are a clear leader and have good collaboration skills. You are independent, responsible and able to take your own initiative. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

For employment, an extract from the police's criminal record is required.
