Myranskolan is a f-6 school with about 150 students and an after-school department, located in Koskullskulle. At Myranskolan we work with the Gällivare model, which means that in each class in grades 1-6 there is a teacher responsible for teaching and a class mentor. The after-school program is a complement to the school where students' abilities are developed through various forms of expression and based on the students' interests.

Tasks

A house substitute's mission is to go in and substitute for absent staff at the school, for example as a teacher, student assistant or class mentor. You are usually based on a completed lesson plan and the assignment is very varied. You will cover absences in primary or middle school. Primarily, you will substitute at the primary school in the mornings. As a house substitute, you also work in the afternoons at the after-school center.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with at least upper secondary education and meritorious is to have worked with children / students in different contexts. We are looking for you who are flexible and have a present and responsive approach to the different needs of students, are a clear leader and have good collaboration skills. You are independent, responsible and easy to take your own initiative.

Strong emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

For employment, an extract from the police's criminal record is required.

Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

Working hours/Duration

Full-time, permanent employment. Probationary period may apply.
