Business description
The support unit carries out individually needs-tested interventions in ordinary housing. The interventions are intended to strengthen the individual's ability to manage independently and enable the individual to remain at home. The support unit works with a specific target group that includes people with mental illness and substance abuse problems.
Tasks
As an assistant nurse at the support unit, you work with housing support for users in the target group. Residential support is a practical, educational and social intervention that aims to strengthen the individual's ability to cope with everyday life in their own home and out in the community. Within the support unit, we also provide home care services in the form of service and personal care in the individual's home. We work on the basis of assistance decisions and work towards the quality goals that the business has. Planning, follow-up and evaluation are important elements of the business.
Qualifications
Three-year nursing program, Assistant nursing education or other education that is considered equivalent. We are looking for you who have experience of or interest in working with social psychiatry and / or care and care have a positive outlook on life. You are flexible, structured and thorough. Based on the Support Unit's area of work, knowledge of social psychiatry and/or pedagogy is an advantage. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. The work also includes documenting in the business system. As a computer is used as a working tool, it is necessary that you have good computer skills. Your duties include documenting and communicating with various parties, which requires you to have a good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing. Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
Driving license is a requirement.

Working hours/Duration
Full-time, temporary position during the period 2026-05-01-2027-05-01 with possible extension. Duty: day, evening and weekend.
