Description of Operations
Myrans Preschool has four classes with 18 children in each group, aged 1–5 years. The preschool is beautifully situated in a quiet residential area where the playground is large with great play areas, and the forest is right outside the fence.
We are now looking for two temporary childcare workers for Myrans Preschool!
Job Responsibilities
As a childcare worker, you will work with the team to design a safe and enriching educational experience for the children in your preschool department. The curriculum guidelines outline your responsibilities within the team regarding the development, monitoring, and evaluation of the program and education. As a childcare worker, you’ll be part of a team and participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating the educational activities offered to the children. In collaboration with the work team, the children should be given new challenges and receive support and stimulation in their social development.
Qualifications
Experience working in a preschool, childcare training, or other experience deemed appropriate by the employer. Fluency in spoken and written Swedish. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. Under the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare Municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is considered an asset when applying for employment with Gällivare Municipality.
A valid extract from the police criminal records is required; this can be requested at Polisen.se
