We are looking for a temporary Childcare Worker for Regnbågens Preschool.

Regnbågen is beautifully situated along the Vassara River with a view of Dundret. Working at the preschool is a challenging, exciting, and creative job that involves close collaboration with colleagues on the team.

Job Responsibilities

As a childcare worker, you will work with the rest of the team to carry out activities planned in accordance with the Preschool Curriculum (Lpfö).

Qualifications

As an educator, you should be responsible and demonstrate clear leadership within the group of children; you should be able to easily build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Commitment, a solution-oriented approach, flexibility, innovation, and a strong ability to collaborate are qualities we highly value in our work; we place great emphasis on personal suitability. Childcare training or equivalent experience working in preschool is preferred.

An extract from the police’s criminal history and suspicion registry is required.

Under the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare Municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is a plus when applying for a position with Gällivare Municipality.

Work Hours/Duration

Temporary position, 6 months, Full-time 100%

Monthly salary; Gällivare Municipality practices individual salary setting. Please include your salary expectations in your application.
