Hello! Are you our new colleague at Fjälldalens preschool?
Fjälldalens preschool is a preschool with six departments where nature and the mountain are close by and where you as an educator get a unique opportunity to be involved in shaping the preschool of the future.
The preschool opened in January 2025 and we are now looking for you who want to step in among a wonderful group of colleagues and build up a long-term work at the preschool.
In the preschool we meet our children in their first education and in their first step in lifelong learning and there you as an educator are important.

Work tasks
The preschool curriculum (Lpfö18) describes the preschool's values and mission and contains goals and guidelines for the work in the preschool. The children in the preschool should receive a safe education where care, development and learning form a whole.
The work means that you, together with the team, design a safe and developing education for the children at the preschool. The work is challenging, exciting, creative and takes place in close collaboration with your team and colleagues at the preschool.
You are part of a team and participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the teaching offered to the children. You collaborate with the team and you offer the children a fun and learning education and teaching.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are interested in working in preschool.
It is important:
- that you are familiar with our governing document, Läroplan för förskolan (Lpfö18),
- that you are a confident and clear leader, have the ability to take your own initiative, are positive and have faith in children's different competencies,
- that you are concerned about trusting relationships with children and guardians and that you have good collaboration skills,
- that you use pedagogical conversations and pedagogical documentation in your work,
- that you use picture support and TAKK (sign as alternative and complementary communication),
- that you are interested in developing the preschool.
Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a prerequisite for the position. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and personal suitability.
In the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
