Gällivare municipality has 9 preschools in the urban areas of Gällivare, Malmberget and Koskullskulle. We also have preschools in the villages of Dokkas, Hakkas and Puoltikasvaara.

Work tasks

We are looking for you who want to work as an hourly substitute in the preschool with children aged 1-5 years, either a few hours a week or on a longer substitute basis. You should have a positive outlook, initiative and of course have a genuine interest in children. As an hourly substitute, you will work together with regular educators to carry out educational work with the children according to the curriculum. You replace regular staff and do most of that person's tasks. You will work during the day, Monday to Friday. You are offered a rewarding and meaningful job and your contribution is important to us.

To work as an hourly substitute with us, you need:

• Have turned 18 years old
• Understand, speak and read Swedish
• Valid extract from the Police's criminal record

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are interested in working with our youngest children 1-5 years and it is important:

• that you are positive and have faith in the children's competencies.
• that you are interested in using digital tools.
• that you are concerned about trusting relationships with children and parents and that you have good collaboration skills. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
• In the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
