Business description

Myranskolan has about 150 students from preschool to grade 6, as well as an after-school department. The school is located in Koskullskulle. At Myranskolan, there is a teacher responsible for teaching and a class mentor who mainly works towards the social parts of the curriculum in each class in grades 1-6. The after-school program is a complement to the school where students' abilities are developed through various forms of expression and based on the students' interests. The school also has special needs teachers, a school counselor and a school nurse who work together in teams for the benefit of the students.

Tasks

The starting point for you as a teacher is to work with planning, teaching, evaluation and value-based work based on the curriculum. The work is done both independently and together with colleagues at the school. Since the service is 75%, there is the opportunity to go in as a class mentor or at leisure if necessary to increase the degree of service to 100%

Qualifications

We are looking for a qualified teacher with a teaching license and who wants to work on a smaller unit, in a quiet atmosphere! As a person, you are responsive and create good relationships, both with students, colleagues and with guardians. In your work with the students, you are clear in your leadership. We also believe that you are innovative and interested in school development and we place great value in the ability to collaborate and cooperate. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. Within the framework of the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of one of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.

Extracts from the police's criminal record are a requirement.
