Description of the workplace:

The workplace is Åslundmarka living and service center, in Hunndalen.

The position is linked to the business that provides services in full-time housing in Åslundmarka living and service center. The business consists of a total of approximately 21 full-time equivalents, with nurses, auxiliary nurses / health professionals, care workers and assistants. All employees are involved in providing good services based on the individual resident/user's need for assistance. In addition, we have a very active and popular Open Day Offer that helps to safeguard the users' social and active lives.

The position that is now being advertised is currently with a rotation associated with the full-time staffed homes in the center.

Tasks:

As a nurse in our business, you will be part of our team that provides health care to users in their own home, full-time housing, according to the user's decision and the service's governing documents.

You will have general responsibility for the nursing tasks that are in the business at any given time, together with the business's other nurses. As a nurse with us, you will also be a supervisor for nursing students and other professional groups. Interdisciplinary collaboration with other service areas in the municipality, and external partners. You will have primary contact responsibility for users, work with relatives.

The business works closely with ambulatory home services in Hunndalen and is co-located with this business.

Qualifications:

  • Authorization as a nurse.
  • Good documentation skills are required. Gjøvik municipality health and care uses the ICT programs Gerica, GAT, Visma and EQS.
  • Good oral and written presentation skills in Norwegian.
  • Good collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability for restructuring, innovation and flexibility is emphasized.
  • Good nursing technical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Have good abilities to prioritize work tasks and work efficiently.
  • Personal suitability, commitment and a solution-focused approach are greatly emphasized.
  • Experience in geriatrics
  • Good attitudes to working life
  • Approved police certificate
