
Health centre services in Gjøvik municipality are organized under the upbringing sector and are part of the children and family service, together with the family team, young people in Gjøvik, the PP service and residential communities and inclusion. The health center services have their own business manager and approximately 27 man-years and 30 employees. We offer services to pregnant women, children and young people and their families within antenatal care, health center 0-5 years, school health services and youth health center. In addition, we offer travel vaccinations and are responsible for infection control together with the municipal medical officer.
The health center in Gjøvik municipality is located in the town hall together with several of the other upbringing services. The health centre service is organized into specialist teams based on work area.
