Description of the workplace:

Children and young people in Gjøvik should have an upbringing characterized by well-being, security and life skills. Ung i Gjøvik will contribute to this through preventive efforts with a particular focus on leisure activities, play and interaction with others with safe adults present. The target group is young people aged 12-25 and their parents. Priority is given to young people aged 12-16.

Work tasks:
  • Be a safe adult in meeting with young people at our open meeting places and in group activities

  • Be a clear support for young people and their parents

  • Be part of interdisciplinary teams at secondary schools

  • Initiate and implement various cultural and leisure offers for young people

  • Interdisciplinary collaboration both within our own sector and outside

Qualifications:
  • Three-year college education in the field

  • Experience working with children, youth and/or families

  • Good relational skills

  • Good Norwegian oral and written presentation skills


Police certificate must be presented before employment.

  • Commitment and interest in young people and their families

  • Good collaboration skills

  • Ability to take challenges and make own assessments

  • Interest in and knowledge of one or more cultural or leisure activities
