
Description of the workplace:
The Real Estate Division of Gjøvik Municipality consists of approximately 100 dedicated employees who build, manage, operate, maintain, develop, and clean the municipality’s 149,000 m² of building stock. In addition, the municipality leases approximately 21,000 m².
The Real Estate Department has separate divisions for management, operations and maintenance, energy management and technical operations, cleaning, and project management.
The Operations and Maintenance Department has 14 employees who perform daily routines and as-needed maintenance at over 50 locations throughout the municipality, including schools, daycare centers, healthcare facilities, a movie theater, city hall, and other buildings.
We are now looking for a dedicated building operations manager to strengthen our efforts to operate and maintain the municipality’s existing building stock.
As a building operations manager with us, you will help achieve the municipality’s goal of managing and developing relevant buildings and properties in a value-preserving, holistic, and sustainable manner to support the municipality’s services.
You will collaborate with colleagues in the operations department, as well as operations technicians and other professionals in the real estate department. In addition, you will collaborate with building users and external stakeholders.
