Description of the workplace:
The new Biri care center was built in 2021.
Biri care center contains book collectives for people with dementia, nursing homes, adapted services, as well as home services, day center and café.
The care center is centrally located between Gjøvik, Lillehammer, Moelv and Hamar. Biri book collective consists of 16 places for people with dementia.
We want an environment with good cooperation, focus on the profession, and where we together find new solutions for the benefit of our residents. The building has modern technology, which will allow employees to customize services around the individual resident.
Turnus day / evening incl weekend.
Tasks:
- Health care according to individual decisions during full-time care
- Strive for good cooperation and safeguard the needs and rights of the residents in collaboration with the resident and relatives
- Documentation according to applicable laws, regulations and guidelines
- Medication management according to current procedures
Qualifications:
- Authorization as a health care worker
- Experience in dementia care is desirable
- Ability to work independently and be confident in professional practice
- Personal suitability will be emphasized
- Good communication skills in Norwegian, both oral and written
- General ICT skills
- Requirement of approved police certificate

- Be structured, independent, take initiative and have a positive attitude
- Flexible with regard to breathing variation in tasks
- Commitment and motivation to develop and provide users in book collectives with good services
