
Description of the workplace:
Gjøvik municipality has organized health and care services for younger people with various disabilities and assistance needs in adapted services.
The position belongs to an enterprise that provides services to 1 basic team that works in school, respite care and the home of families with children with a high need for assistance and need for specially adapted services. The services are coordinated and organized with a social worker who is the team leader and who works purposefully and systematically in school, respite care and at home. The basic team is organized as a comprehensive and coordinated service offering with a focus on interdisciplinary cooperation.
The company also provides services to people with various disabilities who live more independently with follow-up services and assistance in the home and with different needs for help in daily life skills and chores.
We will establish a new respite home that will offer respite care in an institution on a rolling basis for families with children and young people with various disabilities.
Shifts: Day, evening and third every weekend

Authorization as a healthcare professional, others with relevant professional education may also be considered. Students are encouraged to apply for the weekend positions
Experience and good professional knowledge with targeted environmental work and relevant practice with the user group, including children and young people

Approved police certificate required
