Description of the workplace:

Lillekollen in Hunndalen has a new co-located housing facility consisting of a new building with 6 residential units, and we are looking for an employee who wants to be part of the development process, from the current start-up phase through to the long-term day-to-day support of the residents. Adapted Services provides support to younger individuals with various disabilities and consists of a total of 12 facilities. A new department has been established, and the housing facility was completed in the spring of 2025; we are seeking a skilled, responsible, and dedicated employee who can work days, evenings, and weekends.

In addition to the already dedicated team of skilled staff working at the residence, we need a professionally committed employee to join us in this new venture and in our day-to-day operations moving forward. Together, we want to create a high-quality residential care setting focused on helping residents thrive in their daily lives. That’s why we’re looking for someone who puts the resident first, is responsible, proactive, flexible, and professionally curious. The service aims to foster a positive work environment by planning, implementing, and evaluating the measures taken in collaboration with staff and family members, so that daily life provides the greatest possible sense of mastery and quality of life for everyone involved. Employment percentage:
100% permanent flexible position for healthcare assistant/nursing assistant/child and youth worker
Shift schedule: The position is part of a shift schedule with day and evening shifts, and the possibility of long shifts every fourth weekend.
Work location: currently at Åslundmarka 2 – Lillekollen Housing.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Actively participate in the professional and practical provision of services
  • Varied tasks such as activity planning, facilitation, practical assistance, and training in daily activities such as meals, ADL skills, personal care, and necessary medical assistance
  • Work systematically with injury prevention measures in accordance with KHOL Chapter 9.
  • Focus on comprehensive services, coordination, and collaboration for the benefit of the user group
  • Take responsibility for your own professional development and actively contribute to innovative thinking within the service, which is constantly evolving and changing
  • Collaborate with colleagues and work purposefully to foster good cooperation with family members
  • Facilitate a meaningful daily routine with a wide variety of tasks, through purposeful environmental work and active care
Qualifications:
  • Preferably a healthcare assistant or nursing aide with approved certification. Applicants with other vocational training, including child and youth workers or social workers, will also be considered.
  • Relevant work experience is highly valued
  • Experience with targeted community work and Chapter 9 of the Health and Care Services Act is an advantage, but not a requirement.
  • Ability to handle change and challenges, with the capacity to work independently
  • Positive attitude toward interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Contribute to professional development and foster a sense of collective commitment
  • We are looking for a positive and inspiring person with strong collaboration skills
  • Personal suitability, the ability to think innovatively, and flexibility are highly valued
  • Proficiency in using computer tools is a plus
  • A valid police clearance certificate is required
