Description of the workplace:

The new Biri Care Center was built in 2021.

The Biri Care Center includes a residential community for people with dementia, a nursing home, specialized services, as well as home care services, a day center, and a café.

The care center is centrally located between Gjøvik, Lillehammer, Moelv, and Hamar. The Biri shared living community consists of 16 places for people with dementia.

The building is equipped with modern technology designed to enable staff to tailor services to the individual needs of each resident.

Shift work: day/evening, including weekends.

Job responsibilities:
  • Providing healthcare based on individual assessments within 24-hour care
  • Striving for good teamwork and safeguarding residents’ needs and rights in collaboration with the residents themselves and their relatives
  • Documentation in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines
  • Medication management in accordance with applicable procedures
Qualifications:
  • License as a healthcare assistant/nursing assistant
  • Experience in dementia care is desirable
  • Ability to work independently and confidently in the profession
  • Personal suitability will be emphasized
  • Good communication skills in Norwegian, both verbal and written
  • General ICT skills
  • Requirement for a valid police clearance certificate
